Smirnoff has teamed up with Rappers Common, KRS One and Q-Tip to remix one of their classic singles in support of their new line, Smirnoff Signature Mix.

Hot 97’s Miss Info has revealed that rapper Common has teamed up with producer Just Blaze to create a remix of “The Light”, KRS One and DJ Premier are remixing “I’m Still #1″ and Q-Tip is remixing “Vivrant Thing” with producers Cool & Dre.

The artists’ remixes will be performed at smirnoff’s launch for thier Signature Mix on February 26th and the tracks will be made available for free download via Smirnoff’s website.

In related Common news the Chicago MC beat front-runners UGK for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group at this years Grammy Award’s ceremony for his collaboration with rapper Kanye West on the track “Southside”.

Common’s eighth album, The Believer, is due to be released by November this year.
