Bubba Sparxxx and his New South Entertainment label have inked a distribution deal with Koch Records.
Bubba Sparxx who was previously signed to producer Timbaland’s Beat Club label, is planning to release his currently untitled fourth album in the summer via his own New South Entertainment label.
GM for Koch, Alan Grunblatt said “Bubba Sparxxx is the rapper’s rapper,” adding “He continually surprises his fans with his diversity and comes out with hit after hit. We’re thrilled to be working with him.”
Koch is optimistic that Bubba Sparxxx can again achieve the huge success he experienced with his first two albums which were produced by super producer Timbaland.
Bubba has previously released three critically-acclaimed albums, ‘Dark Days, Bright Nights’, ‘Deliverance’, and ‘The Charm’, the later of which was the most commercially successful aided by its breakthrough single “Ms. New Booty”, which in June 2006 was one of the very first ringtones ever to be officially certified by the RIAA for achieving Gold status.
Bubb Sparxxx will be showcasing the New South Entertainment’s roster under terms of the deal, via a mixtape, which is due later this year.
