Naughty by Natures’ Vinnie Brown has teamed up with Shakim Compere of Flavor Unit Entertainment to launch a new clothing line of junior plus sportswear titled “Ladies First.”

Along with Johnny Sajnani, president of Johnny Signature Inc., Brown and Compere are both
partners in J&V Brand Management.

Compere, who is a longtime business partner for rapper/actress Queen Latifah, was also Vinnie Brown’s manager when he was a member of Hip-Hop group Naughty by Nature.

Signature Inc. is manufactured and distributed by Naughty by Nature’s Naughty Gear clothing line, which was one of the very first Hip-Hop clothing lines.

Ladies First, which takes it’s name from an 1989 hit single by Queen Latifah, will be distributed by an emerging leader and in the sportswear products industry Next Inc.

We have spent considerable time with our customers testing the marketplace and their receptivity has been extremely encouraging. We look forward to working with Ladies First and its marquee list of soon to be named celebrities to build this unique brand.”

Ladies First, which will endorsed by a number of celebrity singers and rappers, is due in stores in late March.

Ladies First is set to launch in the spring with the first shipments to retailers expected in March, the clothing line will target specialty stores and specific department stores that are within Next inc.’s already established network of retail distribution.
