Rapper Busta Rhymes recently revealed details to MTV News about his upcoming eighth album titled Back On My Bulls**t.
So far Busta has already worked on new material with hip-hop producers Dr. Dre, Green Lantern, Cool & Dre, Danjahandz, Nottz and Timbaland.
Busta has also been working with Pharrell, who also helped Bus to come up with the title for the new album.
“I’m calling it Back On My Bulls**t for two reasons,” Busta Rhymes told MTV News. “I said it on [a new song,] and it stuck in Pharrell’s head. And because this album, in particular, feels like vintage Busta Rhymes, in a 2008 way. It was original and appropriately the right thing to call the project. No deep brain-science…nothing like that.”
In addition to working on and releasing Back On My Bulls**t, Busta Rhymes is also gearing up to release a number of new mixtapes.
The first mixtape from Busta will be King of the Remixes which is hosted by DJ White Owl, followed by 48 Laws of Power with Mark Exclusive.
“It’s the greatest street exclusives and greatest hits and unreleased exclusives, which is me going in, back to back,” Busta said of the mixtapes.
Busta also plans to release a mixtape titled Already Outshined Your Favorite Rapper with DJ Superstar Jay and yet another one titled Dillagence 2 with Mick Boogie which Busta says is “gonna be crazy.”
