Curtis Jackson is known to the Hip-Hop world as rapper 50 Cent, but if he agrees to a proposal by Taco Bell he may be called something else for a day.
As part of a promotional campaign for it’s value menu, “Why Pay More,” Taco Bell Corporation has asked Fifty to change his name for a single day this summer to either 79, 89 or 99 Cent, HipHopsHome.com has learned.
President of the corporation Greg Creed, made the strange request in a letter to 50’s agent at the William Morris Agency, adding that Taco Bell would donate $10,000 to any charity of 50’s choice, should he accept the offer.
As part of the deal the G-Unit general would also be required to appear at any of Taco Bell fast food location’s in America and rap his order in the drive thru with his temporary new alias.
“We encourage you to ‘Think Outside the Bun’ and hope you accept our offer,” Greg Creed wrote to 50 Cent’s agent.
As of press time neither 50 Cent or representatives for the NY rapper have responded to the offer.
