Chicago rapper Kanye West has been taped to perform at the grand finale of the post race concert for The NikePlus Human Race, HipHopsHome.com has learned.

The NikePlus Human Race, which will be held on on August 31st is the largest single day running event in the world, and will happen across 25 different cities all around the globe.

A percentage of the money raised by the race will be donated to WWF, the global conservation organization, the UN refugee agency’s Ninemillion.org campaign and also the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

“I’m hitting the stage in Los Angeles for the NikePlus Human Race, Nike’s dopest 10k run ever.” Kanye West said via a statement. “This race is bringing together hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world to run and listen to some great music while serving a higher cause, and I’m excited to perform in [Los Angeles] as part of the grand finale.”

In Addition to the performance by Kanye West In L.A., the All-Americian Rejects will be perfoming in New York, Moby will be in London, R&B singer Kelly Rowland will take the stage in Paris and more than twenty other artists will appear at the various other locations.
