Rapper DMX is about to lose his New York house on Fifth Avenue after he walked out on a contract for a dog clothing line.

According to TMZ, A judge ordered DMX to pay $281,000 dollars back in 2004 when the rapper refused to participate in a promotional campaign for the doggie duds.

He has apparently been unable to come up with the cash to pay off the debt and as a result he will have to auction off his townhouse to generate the money needed.

As HipHopsHome.com reported yesterday, the rapper was arrested on June 23rd in Miami after cops caught him driving on a suspended licence.

The incident was just one in a long line of legal problems for the rapper who was also arrested in Arizona last month for driving at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.

X was also caught for numerous other driving offences in both 2006 and 2007 on charges including driving unsafely, driving without a licence and for parking violations.
