It’s been seven years since Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch released an album together under the name of The LOX.
But the three artists are now planning the release of a new group effort under the name of D-Block which as well as featuring the three LOX members also includes Bully, Poobs, Don. D, Trav and others.
Former D-Block member J-Hood, who signed with D-Block in 2001, was ditched by the group in late 2007 after he was captured on video dragging a D-Block chain along the ground and appearing on stage with the groups nemesis 50 Cent.
He claimed that he was angered and disappointed by the fact that he had been unable to release an official album under the label in the six years that he had been signed.
The new D-Block album is due to hit shelves on August 19th via Babygrande Records and will be titled Prepare For Glory.
The first track to be released to the Internet from the album features the three LOX members and is titled “That’s My Nigga,” click here to listen to it over in our audio section.
Sheek, Jada and Styles have also released a short video clip to confirm the release of the album, click here to check it out in our videos section.
