Jim Jones Says Cam’Ron Will Not Be On His Next Solo Album

Diplomats member Jim Jones has announced that his fourth Solo Album, which is currently untitled, will not include a guest appearance from Dipset front man Cam’ron.

“No, there won’t be any Cam, which is a shame,” Jim Jones told Billboard. “But you know, we’ve got to keep it moving.”

Jones is also preparing for the July 1st release of his new group, Byrd Gang’s debut album.

Byrd Gang is made up of rappers Freekey Zekey, Mel Matrix, Sandman, NOE and Oshy as well as producer Chink Santana.

The albums first single is titled “S.P.L.A.S.H.” and features fellow Dipset member Juelz Santanna.

“There’s a record called Byrd Gang Money that I never serviced but it’s playing in clubs up and down the East Coast,” Jones said. “I’m going to shoot that video along with the Mr. Good Stuff video, which is the first single off my Columbia album, and release them together.”

Byrd Gangs’ M.O.B. (Members Of Byrd Gang) is set to be released on July 1st. Fans who purchase the album through digital download vendor, iTunes, will also receive six bonus tracks.

Jim Jones’ solo album is planned for release sometime in September.
