For the second time in a single week rapper DMX, 37, has been arrested, this time for attempting to buy illegal drugs.

DMX, real name Earl Simmons, was reportedly caught yesterday (June 27th) when he made an attempt to purchase cocaine and marijuana from an undercover officer.

Police claim that X approached the agent and requested “30 powder and 15 weed,” when he proceeded to hand over $45 to complete the transaction he was arrested and taken into custody at the Miami-Dade County jail. His bail was reportedly set at $6,000 dollars.

As HipHopsHome.com previously reported, DMX was also arrested on June 23rd on a warrant for driving with a suspended licence. He was later released after posting bond of $500.

In addition to the two arrests, this week news also broke that X is about to lose his New York home over a breached contract from 2004.
