Soulja Boy Tell’em has teamed up with Yums Shoes to design and produce his own line of Sneakers and urban clothing.
The ATL based rapper will work with Graffiti artist/Yums Shoes designer Tex to create his own signature shoe in partnership with Yum Shoes’ Block Star line.
The soles of the Sneakers will be decorated with a graffiti art design while the shoes themselves will be made with brightly coloured materials.
As part of the contract which lasts for a number of years they will also work together to produce a new range of street orientated apparel.
Both Collipark Music and Interscope Records will also be involved in the deal alongside the teenage rapper.
“It clearly demonstrates how music and fashion blend together.” Yums Shoes’ CEO, JP McDade said via a statement. “The shoes and clothing line allow the wearer to express his or her personality, because each shoe is an individual piece of art. Soulja Boy Tell’em will be able to assist in designing shoes and apparel exactly the way he would want them to look. And with Interscope’s considerable marketing savvy, we expect this effort to be our biggest, most far-reaching yet.”
Producer Mr. Collipark also suggested that Soulja Boy Tell’em had more business ventures planned for the near future including movies and TV.
“We are very excited” Mr. Collipark said. “[We] have high expectations for this opportunity and future Soulja Boy Tell’em endeavors, including movies and television.”
