Former Geto Boys Member, Bushwick Bill Preps New Solo Album

Former Geto Boys member, Bushwick Bill, is gearing up for the release of what is said to be the most shocking album he has released to date.

Following the announcement in 2006 that Bushwick Bill had converted to Christianity he has now chosen to release his first christian themed album, titled “Testimony Of Redemption.”

The music on the album includes a number of bible references and will see Bill leave his alter ego Chucky behind.

“Well, it’s a new year with my past behind, No more playing tricks on my renewed mind, Geto Boys is the crew where I claimed my fame. Much respect to them, but I gotta push Christ’s name,” Bill raps on “Renewed Mind.”

On the album Bill will also address the misogyny and the “childish things” that have appeared in some of his previous music.

Bushwick Bill’s first solo album was titled “Little Big Man” and was released in 1992. It reached the number 15 position on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts with the singles “Ever So Clear” and “Call Me Crazy.”

Bill has also released a number of other albums including “Phantom of the Rapra” in 1995, “No Surrender…No Retreat” in 1998, “Univeral Small Souljah” in 2001 and most recently was “Gutta Mixx” in 2005.

Testimony Of Redemption is set to hit stores later this year.
