DMX was arrested Yesterday (July 19th) at a Mall in Phoenix in relation to an incident that occurred earlier this year in which the rapper gave false details at a hospital in an attempt to avoid having to pay the bill.

In April it is alleged that DMX, real name Earl Simmons, admitted himself to a hospital in Arizona complaining of chest problems and shortness of breath.

It is claimed that he used the alias of Troy Jones and also provided the Mayo Clinic’s staff with a false address and social security number in an attempt to avoid paying up.

HipHopsHome.com has learned that after he was arrested Yesterday, the multi-platinum selling rapper was taken to the Maricopa County jail where he was subsequently booked.

“He’s back in jail again, I don’t know why judges keep letting this guy out.” Joe Arpaio, Maricopa County Sheriff, said to the Associated Press “Every time he goes in there, he gets out on bond…I’m hoping this is the one time he’s going to pay the penalty for his offence.”

Requests to The Maricopa County Sheriff for comment were not returned as of press time, it is also believed that no bond has been set.
