Rappers Kanye West, Talib Kweli and Lupe Fiasco have all been taped to appear at this years Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN.

The festival, which is in it’s seventh year, is a four day event and features performances from a number of big names both in music and comedy across a number of stages on a 700 acre farm 60 miles south of Nashville.

Billboard have revealed that Bonnaroo is the top grossing North American music festival with 2007’s ticket sales generating an estimated $18 million.

In addition to the afforementioned rappers Metallica, B.B. King and The Raconteurs have all been taped to perform at this years festival, the final lineup is predicted to include more than 100 acts and 20 comedians performing on 13 stages.

“I actually feel like it’s one of our strongest lineups to date and it strengthens our diversity within our programming,” president of festival co-producers Superfly Productions, Jonathan Mayers, recently told Billboard.com. “I know we still have a lot more to add, too, so I’m excited about it and feel like we’re going to have a very successful year.”

Bonnaroo 2008 will run from June 12-15. Tickets for the festival go on sale on Bonnaroo.com on February 1st.
