A judge in Phoenix, Arizona issued an arrest warrant out on DMX yesterday (August 12) after the rapper failed to show in court as scheduled.
According to a report by the Associated Press, DMX, 37, was due in court yesterday for a pretrial conference for four counts of possessing drug paraphernalia and an additional count for possession of marijuana.
The Judge, Phemonia Miller, also reportedly raised DMX’s bond to $25,000 dollars and has given the rapper’s attorney until 4 p.m. on 19th August to reveal X’s location and to explain why the rapper was a no show in court, otherwise X will be arrested.
As HipHopsHome.com previously reported, DMX, real name Earl Simmons, is additionally accused of animal cruelty after dogs being kept at his house were found to be malnourished and charges of using a false identity to avoid paying a bill for medical treatment at a hospital in Phoenix.
