The Re-Up gang is back, and are stronger than ever. Some listeners have already dubbed it, “The Mixtape of the Year”. While I cannot yet make that claim seeing as it is only February, this mixtape near album quality is stellar. Releasing (or at least leaking) the same day as the new G-Unit mixtape (sans Young Buck) “Return of the Bodysnatchers, Thisis50 Vol. 1″ (Read back later for my review on this one)

Back on Topic. WGI4C Vol. 3 is a very strong mixtape with retail album overtones. Its the return of the ki slanging rappers that, on one interlude could have made the phrase of the month, “Tree Huggin’ Ass Bitch” coming from the 20k Interlude.

Track by Track Breakdown

Here’s What They Think About You (Interlude)-A good way to start off the tape. RUG is a group that has always been trying to prove their supremacy or just trying to prove themselves in general to the main listening crowd. 8/10

Re-Up Intro-Starts off with talk in over the beat of talking about how men wake up wanting to be the best in anything that they do. 8/10

Show You How To Hustle-Using the beat Good Morning (Intro) from Kanye’s latest work Graduation, the RUG really nails it. One of my favorites off of the album. 9/10

Roc Boys-Using the beat Roc Boys (And the Winner Is).. from Jay-Z. Another banger that is strong on the lyrics side. Malice is nice on this track. 9/10

20k Intro-Funny Interlude where it gets in the newest nickname for a female recently. “Tree Huggin’ Ass Bitch Please” 8/10

20k Money Making Brothers On the Corner-Taking a title for a long song name. One of the bangers on the album. A really enjoyable song that will certainly rattle a few trunks. 9/10

Dey Know Yayo-A good beat with an almost Southern feel to it (without over-repetitive claps in the beat). The flows are a tad simplistic but they fit the beat realy well. Not the strongest song however. 6.5/10

500 Birds (Interlude)-Interesting interlude that pretty much says that drug money will go a lot further than rapping. 8/10

Scenario 2008-Another banger! Not much else to really say. 8/10

Good Morning-A truly classic Re-Up Gang track. With the old-school organ in the back on the beat. A banger all around. 9/10

Rainy Dayz-A very soulful sample is used. A little insight into the daily grind that they go through. Not as exciting of a song compared to the Jay-Z track bearing the song. 7/10

Emotionless-A truly great track. Addicting and catchy chorus. A moving track. Love it. 9.5/10

Fuck You-A great use of the old school Fuck You beat. Not much else to say. 8/10

Bring It Back-Heavy hitting beat. Lyrics are great. 8.5/10

Cry Now-A nice use of the banging beat from Obie Trice’s sophomore effort of the same name. Rips it up. 9/10

Sand Solo-Really nice track. Not the greatest though because his voice sort of drowns out over a while like this. 7/10

Liva Solo-Using the Come and Go beat from 50 Cent’s album “Curtis” Good Shit on this track. 7.5/10

Real Niggas-A real old school feel to this song. Using a lot of different beats of old school songs. Good mix of beats but in my opinion their voices really don’t match the West Coast Beats. 6.5/10

Hottest Line-
“Sorry I don’t respect who you applaudin’
Little n***a flow but his metaphors borin’
Don’t make me turn Daddy’s Girl into orphan
That Would mean I’d have to kill Baby like abortion”
